Salon Next Raises $8,000.00 Launched “Art Is in the Blood” – Juvenile Diabetes Foundation
In 2009, Salon Next founded the annual event Art Is in the Blood as a celebration of its mission to bring art into hair and as a way to support juvenile diabetes research. All proceeds of the event, including a silent auction, went directly to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, which is the worldwide leader and world’s largest charitable funder and advocate of Type 1 diabetes research. At the event, Salon Next team members showcased forward-thinking haircuts, while amazing art from some of Atlanta’s most visionary talents was presented. Salon Next looks forward to its continued support of JDRF through Art Is in the Blood and other prestigious events.
